This oil-on-canvas replica of Alfred Sisley’s The Thames at Hampton Court is a tribute to the Impressionist master’s delicate treatment of light and atmosphere. I aimed to reproduce Sisley’s signature loose brushwork and subtle color harmonies: sweeping strokes of soft blues and greens convey the river’s gentle currents, while touches of rose and lavender animate the drifting clouds overhead. Through this reproduction, I sought not only to improve my own technique but also to celebrate the poetic serenity of that timeless riverside moment.
